Home finally..

I always imagine, when I'm back for good.. Dah boleh settle down, buat rumah.. Be near my parents.. Sedih.. Rupanya blom ade rezeki.. Tu la kadang2 down.. I don't like it here.. But terpakse stay here.. Terpakse bersyukur sebab ramai lagi not doing well.. Alhamdulillah we still got each other.. Sorry cakap macam selfish.. Terase nak share.. Sbb kadang2 sedih.. Tapi I know.. Org lain lagi teruk.. So we should feel grateful.. Always stay positive..

Alhamdulillah..

I just wish someday.. 

I could finally settle down in my own home..

TVSTARZ - A cruel reality of Online singing competition

  am a youtuber. My genre mostly on Home Improvement DIY videos using stuff that I could buy online. Yup, my online purchase habits (and I bet so much for others) has been increasing ever since the pandemic strikes. Due to the on and off control movement orders, all of us are forced to stay home and find a new meaning to entertain ourselves. 

As I browse through the net, I tuned to TVSTARZ one day, it’s the first Malaysian online singing competition reality show made available on TV. I am quite keen to learn their formatting. 6 dream team singers competing to be atop whilst avoiding being kick off the group by a weekly challenger. I was hooked.

It has just got more interesting when we learn that the challenger can come from any part of the world (being online and all). So that day, enter Andrey; a challenger from Indonesia. A youtuber just like myself. He has got many hits on cover song videos he made on Siti Nurhaliza’s song. An interesting choice for a man I’d say. He performed her song ‘Purnama Merindu’ this week. Who sing it best? You gotta judge it yourself.

Then just last week, I saw a new challenger from Philippines, Angel. True to her name, she do sing like an angel. My hunch was right. She was praised by the judges on her performance, especially the one with ‘Lelaki teragung’ by Dayang Nurfaizah, singing the song emotionally and pronouncing the lyrics beautifully as if it’s her mother tongue. 

As I aspected, both challengers made it through till now. Replacing the original dream team members and staying strong week after week. Will they stay till the end? We have to follow and see. My bias prayer are with my fellow Malaysian singers of course. C’mon Jazper, Jalee & Eyqa!

It’s half way through the competition. I am just curious on the value of prize TVSTARZ are offering. To tell you the truth, in my own opinion, any money is good now, considering our situation. But to actually have a platform to compete and continue contributing to the entertainment industry whilst staying locked in the comfort of our home? It’s something they should be applaud for.

April 19 & Covid-19..satu lagi tarikh keramat

I've always hear a story from afar, somebody's aunt or brother got Covid19 positive.. Then slowly it came closer, my own aunt & family being infected.. Then today, my own husband..

The partner that laid besides me every night. 

At first, I wasn't really sure how to react, I felt confident that he'll be ok. Because he didn't have any symptoms and c'mon.. He's strong 💪

But then, after sending him to the quarantine center (yeah, I had to send him myself because ambulance are bz) I realized, man.. This could also be the last time we'd seen each other... I started to break.. Tears rolling down.. 

Anything is possible nowadays, the virus just mutated and grew stronger every day..

I'm really not sure what to think now, but to only pray for the best. We did swab test for the kids too, praying the result will come negative tomorrow. Oh I can't bare to think if it ever infected them.. 😓

Sehari suntuk Jalee jadi grab driver, balik bertukang di rumah, tapi masih sempat curi masa berlatih menyanyi dan akhirnya menang TVSTARZ konsert ke 3.

Jalee, mempunyai latar belakang yang agak menarik. Seorang yang banyak skills, mahir bertukang; besi, kayu, simen, you name it, apa saja yang dia tak tau buat.

Jalee juga rasa bertuah, kerana mempunyai sokongan kuat dari bapa mentua, katanya 'Bapa Mentuaku Cool, bagi aku buat studio dirumahnya'.

Apabila mengikuti keluhan vlog Jalee, katanya kerjaya penuhnya adalah penyanyi dan pemain gitar, tetapi sudah agak malap disebabkan pandemik. Jadi untuk mencari rezeki, dia terpaksa buat kerja-kerja delivery. Sehari suntuk hidup didalam kereta. 

Kadang-kala, terpaksa menghadiri kelas-kelas vocal TVSTARZ dari dalam kereta. Tetapi semua itu terbukti membawakan hasil, Jalee akhirnya menang tempat pertama di konsert ketiga. 

Benarlah kata-kata, 'disebalik kesulitan, ada kebaikan'. Kemenangan Jalee di konsert ketiga mungkin telah memberikan sinar baru untuk kerjaya muziknya. Sama-sama kita saksikan perjalanan Jalee di TVSTARZ. 

Adakah dia bakal meraih kemenangan demi kemenangan? Jangan lupa saksikan TVSTARZ konsert setiap Selasa jam 9malam di TVS saluran 122 Astro dan MyFreeview atau di fbpage TVSTARZ.
