Sudden mixture of feelings..

But hang on.. it mite be from that few sob stories over this few days, or mite just be from my monthly hormone check-in.. (yup.. Mrs.P has started her monthly visits again). Or or.. that touchy video of pilgrimage.. I dunno..

A good friend of mine just left Qatar for good... her husband, had reached his maximum level of kesabaran with the oh-so-well-known of Qatar's custom. No, I'm not talking about the traditional custom, I'm referring to the unusual unique experiences one encountered on one's own term. You would love Qatar of you would hate it, or just settled for the in-between. You are either stuck or blend in, all depends on your term of defining your experiences.

Over my return to this country, I've lost 2 friends.. ( I mean they moved back to their home country, not entirely gone :P). Making me think.. what would happen to us, do we have a place to call home, when everything here doesn't make sense anymore.. do we have the insurance to turn back to? And..do we have the 'shoulder to cry'? :'(

Almost five years now,

not sure if we can ever double the time..

Anyway, I just wanted to share the link to the most recent video that I've produced. Need lots of improvement specially in recording, I'm so not fit to be a camerawomen. Hiks.

Our touching farewell dinner

We were invited to attend our own farewell dinner (plus Stefan's) by some colleagues from work. how touching it was.. they presented us with a framed-picture of Aljazeera logo over malaysia & UK flags, and got as many signatures on it. Then, to add to our surprise, they gave us collection money for our so-called first-week-start-off ..worth 200pounds. How touching~

thanks fellow friends.. we really feel appreciated now, even when AJE just don't bother, we feel that there are still people who cares.. ;)

Farewell to Mr.Dom & the lovely Jesse

Last nite we went to Chilli's to gather one last time upon the departure of Mr.Dom & Jesse. They had enuff of Doha.. heading to their next destination.. mebbe Aussie aussie... but first stop would be home-sweet-home to malaysia..
They r really a great couple, too bad i didn't had the chance to get to know them better..just managed to had few deep conversations .. and now they are leaving.. :(
But for all I know, Dominic is always the clown one.. very the-relax and funny.. one time i remember he asked me about myra.. "waaa.. baby also got nails ahh?'' hehe.. I'm gonna miss that one for sure!

The turn ups were great... i think we've got 8 tables attached together like mamak style. Ate our dinner (again I forgot to snap the food pic! demmit!), chat, laugh.. everyone then says goodbye, pass their farewell gifts (we don't know that we were s'pose to bring gifts! so we showed up empty handed! demmit again!) I felt so bad... but then again.. we can always see them as we r heading off to KL tonite..yay for that!

Oh ya, forgot to mention, aizal again, surprised me with a belated birthday cake.. the Chilli's guys came gathering our table bringing cake that i tot was s'pose to be for Dominic&Jesse..but end up to be mine! I was SO surprise.. didn't expect it at all.. nottie-nottie aizal..

After Chilli's they all heading toward their fav spot, Coffee Beanery, but we couldn't join as i have to wake up real early for my shift today :(
